ALPs competition calendar
The Western Lachine Pool is a member of the Lakeshore Pools Association (ALPs), a group of 22 West Island pools that was formed in 1958. Each member pool can create swimming, diving, synchronized swimming and water polo teams, that are composed of pool members and instructed by qualified coaches who are employed by the respective pools. The pandemic had interrupted the competitions, but they will resume this summer!
Join one or more teams and discover or improve in an aquatic sport you love! Being a member of our teams gives you the chance to be part of a friendly group of young people who develop a competitive spirit together.
When are the teams training? How do I sign up? Children as young as 5 years old can register. You can sign your children up at any time for our teams during our office hours or talk to our lifeguards. The training schedule starts on June 27. Please note that swim meets are regularly held on Wednesday evenings and dive meets on Sunday mornings.
